Storytelling is my passion

I have been telling stories my whole life, inspired by a love of reading. From short stories and creative writing pieces to stage plays and lyrics, I have shared my inner world shaped by thoughts, ideas and a touch of whimsy.

Having recently completed my first full-length romantic suspense novel, I am eagerly awaiting the day it is published so that I can share it with the world. It is part of a four-book series set in South Africa, with each story giving a contemporary twist on beloved fairytales.

Lauren Lopes is a business owner, writer and musician. She runs a boutique agency that offers end-to-end communications and design services. She is raising her children with her husband in Cape Town, South Africa. When she isn’t mainlining coffee, she is getting lost in a world of her own making and occasionally forgetting to make dinner (sorry, kids).
